Beyond the Brief: Creating a Music Video Entirely with AI

How DolFinContent Turned Grief Into a Groundbreaking AI Music Video

The summer of 2024 was iconic. While Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, and Charli XCX’s BRAT set the charts ablaze, another creative debut was quietly reshaping how we think about storytelling in music: Make it Pop Vol. 1, the first AI-powered concept album from DolFinContent.

And with that album came a bold challenge—crafting a music video for the single Corporate Blue entirely using generative AI. No cameras, no traditional post-production. Just raw concept and digital tools.

It was a vision brought to life by Eliott Wahba, CEO of DolFinContent, who took creative control of the project at a deeply personal crossroads.

A Creative Brief That Hit Close to Home

Wahba was given full creative freedom—an increasingly rare luxury in the world of commercial design. The brief? Create a 30-second video for Corporate Blue, with one guiding principle: use AI only.

But life had its own timing.

“Right as I got the brief, my grandmother passed. I flew home to be with family, and somewhere in that space between grief and reflection, I started seeing the project differently.”
Eliott Wahba, CEO of DolFinContent

Corporate Blue, a track about emotional disconnection and the creeping numbness of professional life, suddenly became something deeper. It was about change, about the personal battles we all fight in silence, and the ways we lose ourselves along the way.

From Emotion to Imagery: The Power of Creative Freedom

Wahba took an unorthodox approach. Instead of storyboarding, he leaned into intuition. He listened to the track on repeat, allowing the lyrics to shape abstract concepts in his mind. Then, he turned to AI—not for shortcuts, but for collaboration.

“If I had planned it like a typical production, I would’ve over-edited myself. This time, I let the emotion guide me. AI wasn’t a crutch—it was a collaborator.”

The main character—swallowed by the grayscale mundanity of corporate life—evolved from nearly 20 iterations generated in Midjourney. Once Wahba found a visual that captured the character’s internal tension, he locked in a reference and used it to keep the visuals consistent through the rest of the production.

Beyond Prompts: It’s All About Concept

Wahba’s process was shaped by his fluency with tools like Runway, Midjourney, and Luma Dream Machine, but he was quick to point out:

“Prompts are just the beginning. Once you get fluent, the real artistry is in the concept.”

Rather than writing literal descriptions, he focused on atmosphere, mood, and thematic essence—creating visuals that felt like Corporate Blue, not just looked like it.

The result? A video that starts with sterile office scenes and slowly devolves into a surreal, almost dreamlike haze. Neckties stretch into cages. Office chairs melt. Clock hands spin backwards. The screen flickers, not with glitches, but with emotional static.

Grief, Growth, and Generative Design

For Wahba, this wasn’t just a project. It was a moment of catharsis.

“AI didn’t distance me from the story—it let me express something I couldn’t have with traditional tools. When you're navigating grief or transformation, that freedom matters.”

He stresses the importance of intentionality. Generative tools can be powerful, but without emotional clarity, it’s easy to produce noise instead of meaning.

“People don’t connect with prompts. They connect with purpose.”

Creative Takeaways From Corporate Blue

  • Emotion is the foundation. Let real life guide your vision—it shows in the final product.
  • Concept matters more than technique. Once you master your tools, use them to express feeling, not just form.
  • AI isn’t a replacement—it’s an amplifier. When used with clarity and intent, it helps bring your creative instincts to life faster than ever before.

Corporate Blue isn’t just a music video—it’s proof that AI can be used to tell deeply human stories when led by empathy, imagination, and artistic vision.
